3G0YA – Easter Islands – Call Changed !

Hello DX community,

we would like to inform you about a upcoming DXpedition from a german team to the Easter Islands.

The team will be Win (DK9IP), Lutz (DM6EE and Ben (DL6FBL).

The DXpedition is set from April 18th to the 6th of May 2024. The Callsign will be 3G0YA. Due to some local incompatibilities in Chile we have to change our callsign. The callsign was changed from CD0Y to 3G0YA. The QTH is Hanga Roa.

Radio Setup:

Yaesu FT-DX10 , MicroHAM MK-II and RF-KIT RF2K-S amplifier

Antenna Setup:

Two 5-band Spiderbeams (10/12/15/17/20m) @10mH DXCommander Vertical 12.4 from 10-40m, L/4 Vertical for 30m and a Inverted-L for 80/160m (switchable).

Two Beverage-on-Ground (BOG’s) towards Europe and Asia 4-ele 50 MHz Yagi for terrestrial operation VA6AM Triplexer + VA6AM/4O3A High Power Bandpass Filters Logging with DXLog
