YJ0VK – Vanuatu

Hello DX community,

we would like to inform you about a upcoming DXpedition to Vanuatu.

The team will be Luke VK3HJ, Alan VK6CQ, Matt K0BBC and Chris VK3QB. They plan to be QRV from 40 through to 6 m.

The DXpedition is set from 29 March until 11 April 2024.

In the first operation week the focus is set on SSB and CW, with FT8 as a ‘back-fill’ mode. The second week will be CW and FT8.

The equipment will be:

Elecraft K4, Icom 7300 + PA Expert 1K3. Monoband verticals for 160 and 80, Steppir CrankIR vertical and 3 el.YAGI Spiderbeam 6 band for HF.

A participation on the CQ 160m DX Contest CW is also planned.
